The Future of Entertainment is in multi-layered, interactive Experiences.

Background

Deutsche Telekom had developed technology for potential uses that included use as the underpinnings of an entertainment property involving drones and augmented reality.

Deutsche Telekom engaged Drew Reifenberger to lead the initial exploration of this property to determine the high-level product details, other possible applications and market viability.

Reifenberger engaged a host of resources from the TV and gaming sectors to formulate the product strategy and plan. He tapped my team at CapTech who was instrumental in creatively developing the concepts for the gaming experience and exploring the technological feasibility of a multi-layered, augmented reality gaming experience concept and business plan.

Concept

We created the concept of a reality TV competition format involving drones, augmented reality and a consumer strategy game app that utilizes audience crowd-sourced activities to directly impact the on-air competitors.
